Keystone Solicitors announced today that Elikem Nutifafa Kuenyehia has joined the firm as Chairman and Partner in the Accra, Ghana office. He joins from ENSafrica|Ghana, where he was Chairman.
In his role as Chairman at Keystone Solicitors, he will accelerate the growth of the firm with a focus on developing and expanding the firm’s offering for fast growth entrepreneurs, family offices, high net worth individuals and private clients.
Keystone Solicitors is a new generation African law firm with a focus on corporate and commercial legal work. The firm recently represented Cross Switch International, Letshego, Black Ivy, Unibra Group and Gaso Petroleum.
Kuenyehia set up Oxford & Beaumont in 2006. As Managing Partner, he grew the firm to a full-service corporate and commercial offering for Ghanaian corporates and global clients like Coca Cola, Google Inc. and Standard Chartered Bank. The firm was the first Ghanaian law firm to open in the City on London. In December 2015, Oxford & Beaumont became the first fully integrated pan-African law firm after a merger with ENSafrica to form ENSafrica|Ghana.
Kuenyehia is on the Governing Board of State Interest and Governance Authority as representative of the President of Ghana. He has been a non-executive director at Google Ghana Limited and Hollard (formerly Metropolitan Insurance).
“I’m truly excited to join Keystone Solicitors,” said Kuenyehia. “They provide a very compelling alternative to the traditional law firms and there’s no doubt in my mind that the firm is on its way to becoming a pre-eminent African law firm. I’m looking forward to helping to guide them on this exciting journey.”
“We are thrilled to have Elikem join the firm to accelerate our growth. He brings with him a wealth of experience from his Oxford & Beaumont days where he grew the firm to a full-service corporate and commercial offering for Ghanaian corporates and global clients,” said Etornam Adoboe, Managing Partner, Keystone Solicitors.
